Construction Superintendent

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. Duties

• Manage daily operations on the construction site, supervising crews and subcontractors to ensure work progresses according to schedule and specifications
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents to guide onsite activities and ensure compliance with design intent
• Coordinate procurement, delivery, and installation of materials
• Enforce OSHA regulations and federal safety standards to maintain a safe work environment; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections
• Review contracts, change orders, and project budgets; monitor costs closely to prevent overruns while maintaining quality standards
• Conduct quality control inspections, supervise construction drawing review processes, and ensure adherence to all applicable regulations including OSHA and construction safety protocols
• Lead project meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to communicate progress, resolve issues, and align project goals
• Oversee project documentation including daily reports, incident logs, inspection records, and closeout documentation

Experience

• Proven track record managing large commercial or heavy civil construction projects with supervision experience in a fast-paced environment
• Extensive knowledge of construction management software
• Strong understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety requirements for heavy civil or pipeline projects
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately
• Experience managing teams in a construction management role with excellent communication skills for effective crew supervision and client interaction
• Skilled in managing project schedules coordination, budgeting processes, quality control measures, and safety protocols
• Familiarity with managing contracts, change orders, procurement processes, and subcontractor coordination
• Hands-on experience with construction site activities such as blueprint reading, site safety management, crew supervision, and use of testing equipment like ohmmeters for electrical inspections
