Construction Superintendent

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent in the Temple, TX area to oversee commercial construction projects from mobilization through completion. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on field leader who knows how to keep projects moving, subcontractors accountable, and jobsites safe, organized, and on schedule.

Compensation: $90,000–$130,000 base salary DOE + benefits

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and jobsite activities
• Maintain project schedules and proactively address issues that could impact deadlines
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project documents
• Conduct site meetings and communicate project progress with Project Managers and other key stakeholders
• Monitor subcontractor performance, quality, and adherence to project requirements
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, building codes, and quality standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite while enforcing company safety requirements
• Coordinate inspections, punch lists, project closeout, and turnover
• Identify field issues early and work collaboratively with the project team to develop solutions

What You’ll Need to Be Considered:

• Previous Superintendent experience overseeing commercial construction projects
• Strong background in ground-up commercial construction and/or major commercial renovations
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades in an active jobsite environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and project schedules
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, quality control, and jobsite safety
• Proven ability to keep projects on schedule and communicate effectively with both field and office teams
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work onsite in the Temple, TX area
