Construction Superintendent

We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, coordinating crews and subcontractors, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Candidates must be able to lead crews, manage active job sites, and communicate effectively with project management and customers.

Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily job site operations and coordinate field crews, operators, and subcontractors
· Manage utility excavation, concrete/asphalt removal, trenching, and restoration activities
· Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications
· Coordinate scheduling, manpower, equipment, and material needs with Project Management
· Maintain production while managing changing site conditions and field conflicts
· Read and interpret plans, utility locates, elevations, and project layouts
· Monitor trench safety, shoring systems, traffic control, and OSHA compliance
· Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce company safety standards
· Communicate directly with customers, inspectors, utility representatives, and subcontractors as needed
· Track daily progress, quantities, delays, and field changes in Procore
· Identify additional work, remediation work, and scope changes and report them to Project Management immediately
· Assist with layout, grading, excavation alignment, and utility coordination as needed
· Ensure crews maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
· Coordinate equipment usage and verify operators are maintaining equipment properly
· Complete and submit daily reports, photos, and field documentation accurately and on time
· Train field personnel while maintaining productivity

Requirements:
· Minimum 3-5 years of construction superintendent or foreman experience
· Strong knowledge of excavation, utility, concrete, grading, and sitework operations
· Ability to manage crews and maintain production on active job sites
· Ability to read plans and coordinate field operations independently
· Strong understanding of trench safety, OSHA standards, and job site safety practices
· Strong communication and leadership skills
· Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing conditions
