Construction Superintendent

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive Commercial Construction site experience, exceptional management skills, and a deep understanding of construction management software and scheduling tools.

Duties

• Lead daily operations on the construction site, supervising teams of workers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction schedules to coordinate activities effectively.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam to develop project schedules, track progress, and manage documentation.
• Oversee construction schedule coordination to meet project milestones while managing budgets through accurate estimating and cost control measures.
• Enforce federal construction safety regulations including OSHA standards and OSHA-compliant safety protocols; conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks.
• Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers; review contractual documents to ensure scope adherence and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects with a strong background in Commercial construction
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a construction management role with supervisory experience on active sites.
• Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics; proficient in blueprint reading.
• Experience in construction scheduling and project planning using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
