Position Summary

The position involves direct supervision of workers and subcontractors on construction projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervising and directing team members and subcontractors.
• Monitoring productivity and quality to ensure schedules and standards are met.
• Troubleshooting issues related to workers, contractors, safety, quality, changes, or processes, and expediting solutions.
• Ensuring adherence to company and customer quality policies and procedures.
• Overseeing expenditures to stay within budget.
• Communicating progress to customers and participating in site meetings as required.
• Operating various equipment and tools as needed.
• Determining material needs, placing orders, and ensuring work demands and deadlines are met.
• Performing site work such as layout, installation of wall panels, freezer doors, and other roofing construction.
• Communicating regularly with the Project Manager regarding project plans, status, and resource needs.
• Completing necessary documentation, including safe sheets, equipment checklists, and daily time and labor reports.
• Performing minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Identifying and addressing potential safety hazards.
• Investigating accidents and near misses, completing paperwork, and submitting it to designated personnel.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Five or more years of related industry experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in leading and supervising others.
• OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Working Environment

This job requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and fine finger dexterity. Typically, the role involves 10% sitting, 45% walking, and 45% standing. The work is performed both outdoors and indoors, in various geographic locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

• Construction: 5 years (Preferred)

• OSHA CERTIFICATION (Preferred)
