Project Superintendent – Utility-Scale Solar

Location: North Carolina | Full-Time | Travel Required

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead all field operations on utility-scale solar projects, from mobilization through commissioning. You'll direct subcontractors and crews, drive the schedule, and keep the site safe and the work to spec.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site civil, mechanical, and electrical construction activities.
• Manage subcontractors, field supervisors, and craft labor.
• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work, and maintain the project schedule.
• Ensure work meets IFC drawings, specifications, permits, and contract requirements.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations, and lead toolbox talks.
• Resolve field issues and coordinate inspections with QC, engineering, and the client.
• Track production, manpower, and equipment, and maintain daily reports.
• Support commissioning, punch list, and turnover.

Qualifications

• 8 years in construction, including 4 years as a superintendent on utility-scale solar or heavy civil projects.
• Ability to read IFC drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills.
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
