Commercial Construction Superintendent – Ground-Up & Tenant Improvements

Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex | $125,000–$150,000 Base + Bonus

Prevail Recruiting is representing a highly regarded commercial design-build construction firm in the Dallas–Fort Worth area seeking experienced Commercial Construction Superintendents for two separate divisions:

• Ground-Up Commercial Construction
• Tenant Improvement (TI) / Interior Construction

Our client is growing its Dallas–Fort Worth operations and seeking proven field leaders who take ownership of their projects, communicate effectively, and consistently deliver quality results.

What You'll Do

• Lead day-to-day field operations on commercial ground-up construction and/or tenant improvement projects from mobilization through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, material deliveries, inspections, schedules, safety, quality, and site logistics.
• Manage multiple trades and maintain accountability for schedule milestones and workmanship.
• Partner closely with Project Managers on project execution, scheduling, look-aheads, site coordination, and client communication.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and scopes to identify conflicts and resolve issues before they impact project delivery.
• Oversee subcontractor sequencing, site safety, quality control, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with local municipalities, inspectors, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain professional, organized jobsites and proactively resolve field challenges.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience working directly for a general contractor.
• Strong background in ground-up commercial construction and/or tenant improvement projects .
• Experience in commercial sectors such as industrial, warehouse, office, retail, restaurant, hospitality, and commercial interior construction.
• Demonstrated success overseeing subcontractors, trades, vendors, project schedules, and active commercial jobsites.
• Experience with commercial building inspections, permitting, safety compliance, and construction scheduling.
• Familiarity with Dallas–Fort Worth subcontractors, municipalities, and construction conditions.
• Ability to manage projects independently while maintaining strong communication with the Project Manager and client.
• Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and scheduling skills.

Ground-Up Division: Seeking Superintendents with experience delivering commercial buildings from site development and foundations through structural construction, MEP coordination, and final turnover.

Tenant Improvement Division: Seeking Superintendents experienced in commercial build-outs, interior renovations, occupied facilities, phased construction, and accelerated TI schedules.

Candidates with substantial experience in either division are encouraged to apply. Experience in both is a plus but is not required.
