Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects from initiation to completion. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring work progresses according to project plans, schedules, and safety standards
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and communication
• Manage and supervise construction crews, ensuring proper training, safety compliance, and productivity on-site
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents to ensure accurate execution of work
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction scheduling software
• Monitor project budgets, track costs, and implement cost control measures to stay within financial targets
• Enforce OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel
• Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets specifications and contractual requirements
• Review contracts, change orders, and procurement documents to ensure compliance with project scope and regulations
• Lead construction schedule coordination efforts to align various phases of the project seamlessly
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, Bluebeam, HeavyBid to document progress and manage project data effectively

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction management with a strong background in commercial or heavy civil projects
• Solid understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Strong project scheduling skills with experience managing multiple phases simultaneously
• Excellent crew management skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively on-site
• Effective managerial communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience supervising subcontractors and managing contracts in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of budgeting processes and cost control strategies within large-scale projects
• Ability to use tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when required on specific projects
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams in a construction management role with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50.0 per week
