Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. This role requires excellent leadership skills to supervise teams effectively and ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with safety regulations.

Job sites are located throughout CA. Jobs typically run approximately 2 - 4 weeks. Ability to be out of town for the duration of the project is required. CA jobs are predominately in Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Diego.

Job type: Primarily banking institution tenant improvements, work hours are typically 6pm - 2:30am including weekends.

Compensation is bases on experience and expertise.

Experience Commercial Tenant Improvement GC's - one man - looking to run projects with time off between projects encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage project schedules using
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Onsite inspections to monitor progress and quality of work against project specifications.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate execution of project plans.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the construction process.
• Provide leadership and supervision to construction teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Maintain a clean environment with daily cleaning so business can operate each.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including project scheduling and budgeting.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols on construction sites.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills and ability to interpret schematics accurately.
• Strong management abilities with experience supervising diverse teams on-site.
• Solid understanding of quality control processes in construction projects.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
