Construction Superintendent

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage commercial and industrial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with expertise in blueprint reading, project scheduling, and OSHA regulations. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively coordinate with various stakeholders, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, schematics, and project plans to guide construction activities effectively.
• Utilize ProCore software for project management, tracking progress, and managing budgets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, adjusting timelines as necessary to meet project milestones.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise promptly.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA standards to maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide leadership and guidance to construction teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools and techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards in construction.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,800.00 - $114,000.00 per year
