Construction Superintendent

At RBA Builders, our team is central to every project we deliver. We’re seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent who leads with integrity, takes pride in quality work, and knows how to keep projects safe, organized, and on schedule.

In this role, you’ll guide onsite teams, coordinate with clients and trade partners, and help bring projects from mobilization through closeout. You’ll also have the opportunity to grow with a company that values safety, accountability, quality, and its employees.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily construction activities and provide clear direction to onsite teams.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field employees, materials, equipment, and inspections.
• Partner with project managers to meet schedule, budget, quality, and contract goals.
• Review plans, specifications, submittals, and other project documents to ensure work meets requirements.
• Organize daily work plans, subcontractor coordination, safety meetings, and jobsite activities.
• Track progress, identify scheduling or trade conflicts, and address issues promptly.
• Ensure company safety practices, jobsite procedures, and applicable regulations are followed.
• Inspect completed work and coordinate timely resolution of deficiencies and punch-list items.
• Keep thorough daily reports, manpower records, progress updates, and jobsite logs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Keep the jobsite clean, secure, and professional throughout the project.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably on commercial projects.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to read and understand construction plans, specifications, schedules, and project documents.
• Knowledge of construction methods, work sequencing, quality-control practices, and jobsite safety.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and adjusting to changing priorities.
• A sense of ownership and the ability to hold teams accountable for safety, quality, and schedule.
• The ability to build positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and project teams.
• Familiarity with construction software, scheduling tools, email, and digital reporting systems.
• The ability to walk active jobsites, use stairs and ladders, stand for extended periods, and work in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to jobsites as project needs require.
• A valid California driver’s license.
• The ability to meet applicable background screening and driving eligibility requirements for the position.
