Construction Superintendent

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects particularly in the amenity/clubhouse/hardscape area from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess management skills with little input from the office, extensive construction site experience, and an eye for detail to minimize punch lists. This role involves coordinating teams and delivering projects on time and within scope. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in project scheduling, blueprint reading, quality control, and contract management, contributing to the successful execution of complex construction initiatives.

Duties

• Lead and supervise construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and architects/engineers to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Run project schedules based off office and superintendent's expertise.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
• Complete punch lists in a timely manner.
• Perform quality control inspections to verify work meets industry standards and client expectations.
• Supervise field personnel; provide guidance, training, and supervision to ensure high performance standards.
• Schedule inspections and maintain relationships with municipality inspectors/code enforcers.
• Send weekly list to PM of all accomplishments and what is scheduled for the following week
• Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and contractual obligations.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or Project Manager with a strong background in commercial and/or amenities/clubhouses/hardscapes.
• Supervising experience with a track record of meeting project schedules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, submittal interpretation.
• OSHA and SWPPP knowledge preferred; familiarity with construction site safety protocols essential.
• Excellent communication skills combined with management expertise in coordinating complex projects from start to finish.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
