Construction Superintendent (Residential ADU)

Backyard Estates is a design-build ADU company based in Upland. We take homeowners from first site visit to final inspection and run multiple builds at once, all within 20 miles of Upland. We build about 50 ADUs a year and are building the team to get to 100.

Pay: $95,000 to $115,000 base plus performance bonus and vehicle allowance.

What you'll do

• Own several builds from groundbreaking through final inspection

• Schedule and manage subs, inspections, and material deliveries

• Hold quality to standard so jobs close with short punch lists

• Keep daily logs, schedules, and photos current in Buildertrend

• Lead and develop assistant superintendents and field staff

What we're looking for

• 5 to 10 years in residential construction, with at least 3 running jobs

• Ground-up experience: foundation, framing, MEP, and finishes

• Strong on inspections and working with city building departments

• Organized, accountable, and ready to lead a growing field team

• Valid CA driver's license and a clean record

• Lives within 20 to 30 minutes of Upland (short commute, long tenure)
