EZ Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee underground utility and civil construction projects throughout the Tampa Bay area and surrounding Florida markets.

We are looking for a hands-on superintendent who can effectively manage field operations, crews, subcontractors, schedules, safety, and quality while keeping projects moving efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage daily field operations on underground utility and civil construction projects
• Supervise crews, foremen, subcontractors, equipment, and jobsite activities
• Coordinate water main, sewer, storm drainage, excavation, roadway restoration, and related utility work
• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, details, and utility drawings
• Coordinate utility locates and verify existing utilities before excavation
• Plan work sequences and anticipate conflicts before they impact production
• Coordinate inspections, testing, shutdowns, tie-ins, and connections with municipalities and utility owners
• Maintain project schedules and communicate manpower, equipment, and material needs
• Enforce OSHA and company safety requirements
• Maintain daily reports and accurate field documentation
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers and office staff regarding progress, changes, delays, and field conditions
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and contract requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of underground utility/civil construction experience preferred
• Previous superintendent or senior foreman experience
• Strong experience with water, sewer, storm, excavation, and underground utilities
• Ability to read plans and specifications
• Strong understanding of utility locating, trench safety, excavation, and jobsite safety
• Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Florida underground utility/public works experience strongly preferred

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Tampa, Florida; travel to project sites as required
