Construction Superintendent/Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. This role combines hands-on construction site leadership with strategic project management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil and commercial construction, with a proven track record managing teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders. Your expertise will drive project success through meticulous planning, effective communication, and rigorous adherence to construction regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring alignment with project plans, schematics, and specifications.
• Manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Oversee daily construction site activities, supervising teams of subcontractors and workers to maintain productivity and safety standards.
• Develop and control project budgets utilizing construction estimating tools and cost management software such as HeavyBid or Procore.
• Review construction plans, blueprints, and schematics to verify accuracy and compliance with design intent.
• Ensure adherence to all construction regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate procurement processes, manage contracts, and oversee change orders to maintain project scope and financial targets.
• Utilize construction management software like Prolog or Microsoft Office suite for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
• Facilitate effective project communication among clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress through regular site inspections, progress reports, and schedule updates; address issues proactively to minimize delays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a strong background in managing complex infrastructure projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and project management software including Procore or Prolog.
• Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding construction plans.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and cost management strategies using HeavyBid or similar tools.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams on active construction sites.
• Deep understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the organization while maintaining professional relationships.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
