Construction Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our growing team based in Semarang, Central Java. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic opportunity to lead construction operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. As Construction Supervisor, you will be the cornerstone of our site operations, responsible for coordinating teams, maintaining quality standards and driving operational excellence across our construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring all work is executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications and safety regulations
• Managing and supervising construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and adherence to project timelines
• Monitoring budget expenditure and materials usage to maintain cost efficiency on site
• Conducting regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets required standards
• Maintaining comprehensive site documentation, including daily reports, progress records and safety logs
• Implementing and enforcing health and safety protocols to create a secure working environment for all personnel
• Liaising with project managers, clients and other stakeholders to communicate progress and address concerns
• Coordinating the delivery and storage of materials and equipment on site
• Identifying and resolving construction challenges and issues in a timely manner
• Training and mentoring junior site staff and workers to promote professional development

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction supervision or a similar supervisory role on building or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety regulations and building codes relevant to Indonesian construction standards
• Proven experience in managing construction teams and coordinating multiple trades on site
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
• Sound understanding of project budgeting, cost control and resource management
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety best practices and environmental compliance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions independently when required
• Fluency in Indonesian and English (spoken and written) is essential
• Valid Indonesian driving licence and reliable transportation
• Preferred experience with digital site management tools and construction software
