Construction Supervisor

Overview

As a Construction Supervisor, you’ll coordinate daily site operations and guide crews from planning through project completion. You’ll keep work aligned with project schedules, budgets, quality expectations, contracts, and applicable construction and safety regulations. Your impact: By coordinating crews, schedules, and safety practices, you help deliver reliable work while protecting the people on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage crews and subcontractors, assign daily work, and communicate priorities clearly.
• Coordinate construction schedules, review progress, and address delays with project teams.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings; clarify technical details before work proceeds.
• Monitor budgets, contracts, quality control, and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and federal construction safety regulations.
• Maintain project records and use construction management software to support planning, reporting, and coordination.

Skills

• Required: Construction experience, construction site experience, supervising experience, and experience managing teams in a construction management role.
• Required: Construction management, project scheduling, construction schedule coordination, construction drawing review, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
• Required: Crew management, managerial communication, construction safety management, construction regulations, quality control, and budgeting.
• Preferred: Commercial construction experience and construction project management experience in drywall, painting, stucco, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Service Channel, ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid, Pipeline, and an ohmmeter. Be prepared to work with relevant construction management software and project tools.

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
