Construction Supervisor (Mandarin Speaker)

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor (Mandarin Speaker) to manage the full lifecycle of construction projects, from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of construction supervision experience, strong technical expertise, and relevant construction-related certifications.

This role requires fluency in Mandarin  to effectively coordinate with Chinese contractors, consultants, and project owners.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and monitor daily construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and progress align with approved plans and standards.
• Act as a communication bridge between Mandarin-speaking teams, local teams, and subcontractors.
• Review construction drawings, methodologies, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Manage subcontractors and site personnel to ensure construction works meet design, safety, and quality requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report on project progress, potential risks, and improvement actions.
• Verify material usage and workmanship to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to resolve on-site technical issues.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and communication records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in construction supervision.
• Relevant certifications in construction, site supervision, or safety management.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
• Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to manage on-site operations effectively.
• Good understanding of construction safety regulations, quality control, and project schedule management.
• Proactive, execution-focused, and able to work effectively in a complex project environment.
