Construction Supervisor/Foreman

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Supervisor/Site foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this vital role, you will coordinate on-site activities, ensure adherence to safety standards, perform general labour and construction and maintain high-quality workmanship. Your leadership will drive project efficiency, manage teams effectively, and uphold high standards of construction.

Duties

• Participate hands on in various construction labour; including using tools, unloading trucks, climbing ladders.
• Supervise daily construction site operations, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and specifications.
• Monitor safety protocols rigorously, conducting regular site inspections to promote a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to verify accuracy and facilitate clear communication among teams.
• Utilize company systems to track progress, update schedules, and document project milestones.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven supervising experience in construction environments with a strong understanding of site management practices.
• Extensive construction experience with knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents.
• Ability to perform detailed quality control checks and enforce strict safety standards on-site.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with teams, clients, and stakeholders effectively.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
