Construction Survey Engineer

Construction Survey Engineer performs precise site measurements, establishes control networks, and verifies structural alignments for major building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting Out and Alignment: Establish primary and secondary control points, benchmarks, and coordinate systems for site layouts, foundations, and structural elements.
• Survey Operations: Conduct topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys using advanced equipment like Total Stations, GPS/GNSS systems, and digital levels.
• Data Processing: Analyze field data and prepare detailed technical reports, CAD drawings, and alignment verification documents using software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Quality and Compliance: Monitor construction tolerances and ensure all surveying work complies with UAE municipal codes (such as Dubai Municipality or Department of Municipalities and Transport) and project specifications.
• Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, structural engineers, and contractors to resolve site discrepancies and review sub-contractor survey submissions.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Geomatics, Land Surveying, or Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 5 to 8+ years of professional surveying experience, preferably with exposure to UAE or GCC infrastructure, roads, or high-rise building projects.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and modern surveying instruments (Leica, Trimble). A valid UAE driving license is frequently required for site mobility
