• Effectively teach Construction Technology program courses located the Hutchinson Correctional Facility.
• Teach within a flexible training schedule including day and evening teaching assignments that may include alternative delivery systems such as online. ```{=html}

  
  

- Teach theoretical concepts as well as their application in a hands-on laboratory environment.
- Work closely with representatives from KDOC to follow their policies.
- Be responsive to student needs.
- Teach at other Hutchinson Community College locations as assigned.
- Ability to perform lab exercises and assignments to meet current industry codes and standards determined by KBOR program alignment requirements.
- Design, develop and maintain course curriculum, materials, assessments and evaluations according to HutchCC and state standards, and in response to industry needs and trends.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Build instructional training aids and prepare instructional materials.
- Be aware of and be able to maintain applicable shop and lab safety standards.
- Maintain records and files as requested by the department.
- Actively participate in program advisory committees as assigned.
- Work as a team member with the Department of Agriculture, Business,

Computers and Technology.
  
  

- Attend required college meetings and in-service activities.
- Pursue professional development through pertinent classes, workshops, or seminars.
- Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position.
