Construction Warehouse - Shop - Driver

Job Summary
We are a commercial electrical contractor looking to add a valued member to our team. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to work in our warehouse and shop. The ideal candidate will have a CDL drivers license and be responsible for making daily deliveries to job sites, working in our warehouse, performing maintenance on our vans, trucks, and equipment. This role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to regulations, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various equipment. Compensation is guideline and will be determined on experience, ability and previous experience. Must have a clean driving record. Must have a clean record and be able to pass a background check.

Duties

• Safely operate a variety of trucks to transport tools and materials to job sites on a daily basis.
• Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks, fork lifts, boom trucks.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Perform maintenance on company vans, trucks and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with office, field, and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
• Assist in the organization of the distribution center to ensure efficient operations.

Skills

• Experience operating heavy equipment, including pallet jacks, fork lifts, boom truck.
• Experience running small excavating equipment a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
