Duties

• Assist in interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of project specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps safely and efficiently.
• Prepare construction sites by setting up formwork, metal stud framing, and rebar installation for concrete pouring and finishing.
• Perform concrete cutting, pouring, finishing, and stucco or plastering tasks to achieve smooth surfaces and durable structures.
• Install hardscape elements like paving stones or tiles, ensuring proper alignment and adherence to design standards.
• Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations; wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
• Assist with heavy lifting, material transport, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven construction experience with knowledge of various building techniques including carpentry, concrete forming, and rebar installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications accurately.
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and other construction equipment.
• Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
• Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation is highly desirable.
• Prior experience working on diverse construction projects such as commercial or residential buildings is preferred.
