Construction Worker

Ozaeta Construction, LLC is seeking a Construction Worker to support day-to-day building and site operations in El Paso, TX.

Position Summary

As a Construction Worker, you will assist with construction tasks on job sites to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. You’ll work closely with a team to prepare materials, support trades and skilled labor, and help maintain an organized and productive work environment.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in hands-on work, follows job-site safety expectations, and is ready to contribute to the successful completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with loading/unloading materials, preparing job sites, and keeping work areas organized and clean.
• Support carpentry, concrete, masonry, and general construction tasks as directed by supervisors or crew leads.
• Perform manual labor tasks including lifting, carrying, moving materials, and site cleanup.
• Follow safety procedures, wear required protective equipment, and report hazards or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Maintain basic job-site documentation and follow directions to support project timelines and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical, hands-on work in varying outdoor conditions, including standing, lifting, and working on job sites.
• Willingness to follow safety rules and complete required safety practices on every shift.
• Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work full-time onsite.
• Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a construction team.
• Basic understanding of construction site practices and safe handling of materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior construction or general labor experience in a construction environment.
• Familiarity with job-site safety expectations and safe lifting practices.
• Experience assisting with tasks related to building, concrete work, or general site preparation.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions or work directions.
• Comfort working with tools and equipment commonly used for construction support tasks.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $14.00
