Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Worker to join our dynamic team and contribute to a variety of building projects. In this role, you will be actively involved in executing construction tasks, operating tools and equipment, and ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. Your hands-on expertise will help bring construction plans to life, supporting the development of durable structures and beautiful landscapes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovations to new builds, while adhering to strict safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and concrete mixers safely and effectively on-site.
• Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to create solid foundations and structures.
• Install rebar (reinforcing steel bars) and execute masonry work including bricklaying and plastering.
• Conduct heavy lifting and material handling tasks while following safety regulations for construction workplaces.
• Support the installation of flooring, masonry features, and hardscape elements as specified in project plans.
• Follow all safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to construction safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on construction projects with a solid understanding of construction site operations.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret blueprints and construction plans accurately.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, concrete pumps, and heavy machinery such as forklifts or excavators.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint specification interpretation.
• Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing techniques, rebar installation, and concrete pumping systems.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations specific to the construction industry.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments.
• Prior experience in renovation projects or working with masonry, plastering, flooring installation or hardscape features is a plus.

Pay: $23.68 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 45.0 per week
