Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Worker to join our dynamic team and contribute to a variety of building projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, from residential renovations to commercial developments. Duties

• Assist in interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute project specifications accurately
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and cutting equipment to perform tasks like concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, and masonry work
• Construct formwork and scaffolding for concrete pouring and reinforcement installation including rebar and metal stud framing
• Install various materials such as stucco, tile, flooring, trim carpentry, and plastering to enhance building aesthetics and functionality
• Conduct heavy lifting and material handling safely while adhering to construction workplace safety regulations
• Perform site preparation activities including demolition, restoration, renovation work, and site cleanup
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of construction work to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards

Experience

• Proven experience working on construction projects with a solid understanding of construction workplace safety regulations
• Hands-on experience with blueprint reading and interpretation of technical specifications for various construction tasks
• Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing, pouring, cutting, and concrete masonry techniques
• Knowledge of carpentry disciplines such as frame carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and restoration work
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment like concrete mixers and pumps effectively
• Experience in masonry work including stucco application and tile laying is preferred
• Prior involvement in renovation projects or working on diverse construction sites is highly desirable

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
