HIRING – MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / CONSTRUCTION HELPER

Full-Time or part time Steady Year-Round Work Pittsburgh Area

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working maintenance person to help maintain and improve our rental properties in the Pittsburgh area.

This is not a master plumber, electrician, or highly skilled trades position. We are looking for someone who is generally handy, can work independently on basic maintenance, and has some construction/remodeling experience.

Typical Work Includes

· Drywall repairs, patching, and basic finishing

· Installing baseboards and trim

· Flooring installation and repairs

· Painting and touch-ups

· Doors, locks, cabinets, and hardware

· Minor carpentry

· Basic plumbing repairs such as faucets, toilets, and simple leaks

· Basic electrical items such as replacing fixtures, switches, and outlets when appropriate

· Apartment turnovers

· General property maintenance and repairs

· Assisting skilled contractors on larger renovation projects

· Cleaning up and hauling materials/debris when needed

You do not need to be an expert plumber or electrician. We want someone who knows their limits and can recognize when a job requires a skilled tradesperson.

Requirements

· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

· Must have a valid driver's license

· Reliable transportation

· Dependable and shows up on time

· Good work ethic and positive attitude

· Some maintenance and/or construction experience

· Able to work independently without constant supervision

· Comfortable working in occupied rental properties

· Willing to learn and take on different types of work

Position

· Full-time

· Steady year-round work

· Pay based on experience
