Consular Officer

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join its team as a Consular Officer. This position offers an opportunity to serve in a diplomatic mission and support the consular and administrative work of the Government of the State of Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of Diplomatic Staff, provide consular services to Kuwaiti nationals, including assistance with passports, documentation, and legal matters.
• Process and issue visas and other relevant travel documents in accordance with applicable laws and procedures.
• Assist with the authentication of documents and notarization services.
• Coordinate with local authorities and institutions regarding consular affairs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential consular records and database.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Consul General or Consular Section leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field (e.g., International Relations, Law, Political Science).
• Paralegal experience in USA preferred.
• Prior experience in a consular, diplomatic, legal role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken) is highly desirable.
• Immigration Status is required (US Citizen or Green card holder).
• Professional discretion and a high degree of cultural sensitivity are essential.
• An updated health report and a criminal background check will be required prior to final employment confirmation.
