Consultancy Manager | IoT Solutions

We’re looking for an experienced Consultancy Manager to establish and grow a new Technology Consulting capability within Teltonika UK & Ireland.

This newly created position will play a pivotal role in developing strategic partnerships with leading UK&I Professional Services organisations, helping position Teltonika's technologies at the centre of digital transformation programmes across multiple industries.

We're looking for someone who understands how Professional Services organisations, Systems Integrators and Technology Consultancies create value for their customers, and who knows how to position technology partnerships that generate long-term consulting opportunities and commercial growth.

This isn't a role where you'll inherit existing partnerships or consulting projects. You will build them. Then, you’ll build and lead a consulting team, establishing the propositions and ways of working needed to create a commercially successful consulting function.

Location: Salford, Greater Manchester, UK Head Office, Suite 2.1, Building 8, Exchange Quay, M5 3EJ, with regular travel throughout the UK & Ireland.

In this role, you will:

• Build and develop Teltonika’s UK & Ireland Technology Consulting capability.
• Proactively originate, qualify and win new consulting and Professional Services opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders including Partners, Directors, CTOs and Heads of Digital Transformation.
• Lead discovery, technical presentations, executive workshops and solution demonstrations.
• Work collaboratively with partners to identify, scope and shape commercially viable IoT solutions.
• Support the development of Statements of Work and commercial propositions, taking opportunities from initial conversation through to engagement.
• Work closely with Sales, Technical, Product Development and Marketing teams to support successful solution development and delivery.
• As the function grows – build, manage and develop your own consulting team to be recognised for their technical excellence, ensuring their utilisation and commercial success.

What you'll bring:

• We’re looking for someone who combines consulting experience, technical IoT credibility, people leadership, with a strong commercial mindset and track record.

You’ll demonstrate:

• Experience working within or alongside a Professional Services or Technology Consulting organisation and experience across a technology vendor or manufacturer, Value Added Reseller (VAR), Systems Integrator, Technology Alliances or Partner environment.
• Proven experience originating and winning new Technology / Solution consulting or professional services opportunities, rather than solely delivering or managing engagements secured by others.
• Strong understanding of IoT hardware, networking, connectivity, industrial networking and solution architecture.
• Experience building strategic partnerships with Professional Services organisations, systems integrators or consulting firms.
• Experience influencing senior decision-makers including Partners, Directors and C-suite stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts and influence both technical and executive audiences.
• Proven experience managing, coaching and developing consultants or technical professionals.
• Comfortable working independently in a brand-new function with a high degree of autonomy.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK & Ireland – with expectation to be on-site with clients or working from our office at least 3 days per week.
• Ideally, experience across areas such as Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Automotive, Aviation, Aerospace & Defence, Government or Transport & Logistics.
