Consultant - AI & Data

Mi client is seeking an experienced Digital Data & AI Consultant to join their growing team in Auckland.

This is a specialist consulting role working with enterprise clients to design, develop and implement Microsoft Power Platform, AI and cloud-based business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Build AI-powered business solutions using Microsoft AI technologies.
• Develop and maintain Azure cloud and data solutions.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Deliver workshops and technical demonstrations to clients.
• Provide technical consulting and implementation support throughout project delivery.
• Configure, test and deploy business applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and solution designs.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:

• A Bachelor's Degree (Level 7 or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years' commercial experience in a similar consulting or software development role.
• Demonstrated commercial experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including:

o   Power Apps
o   Power Automate

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• The ability to work directly with clients and understand business requirements.

Experience with one or more of the following would be advantageous:

• Microsoft Fabric
• Azure AI Services
• Microsoft Copilot
• Azure Data Factory
• Power BI
• Databricks
• SQL
• Python
