About Us
Corrosion Probe, Inc. (CPI) is a national engineering consulting firm specializing in structural and mechanical integrity for critical infrastructure. We focus on practical, data-driven solutions and uphold four core values: People, Passion, Integrity, and Innovation. CPI’s culture centers on trusted, self-motivated technical professionals who value autonomy, practical problem-solving, collaboration, client relationships, and high-quality work. The company thrives on a blend of deep expertise and flexibility, low bureaucracy, strong internal relationships, and a shared commitment to doing the work well.
Position Summary
CPI is seeking a structural engineer to join our team to rehabilitation design for Water/Wastewater Infrastructure clients. Preference will be given to individuals in or willing to relocate to driving distance to Boston, Massachusetts. The position is remote with the candidate able to work from a home office and travel to job sites as needed. Job site work is to inspect structures for condition assessment and rehabilitation design. The ideal candidate thrives in real-world design challenges of rehabilitation of existing structures and getting out from behind the desk, as well as learning from the integrity and performance of existing structures. Designs will focus on asset preservation through intelligent design that includes corrosion prevention considerations by leveraging resources of our other technical experts in metallurgy, protective coatings, and cathodic protection.
