Consultant cum Therapist

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Consultation & Assessment
Conduct initial patient consultations, understand patient concerns and treatment goals, perform appropriate assessments, and provide clear information on suitable treatment options in accordance with clinic guidelines.

2. Treatment Explanation & Patient Education
Explain treatment procedures, expected outcomes, potential risks, limitations, and aftercare instructions clearly. Ensure patients have a proper understanding before proceeding with treatment.

3. Treatment Delivery
Perform assigned treatments strictly in accordance with approved clinical protocols, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and proper treatment standards at all times.

4. Treatment Recommendation & Package Consultation
Recommend suitable treatments and treatment plans based on the patient's needs, assessment, and doctor's advice where applicable. Explain available packages, treatment schedules, and relevant terms accurately without making misleading claims.

5. Patient Follow-Up & Relationship Management
Follow up with patients regarding treatment progress, appointments, aftercare, and future treatment plans. Maintain professional communication and support a positive patient experience.

6. Treatment Room & Equipment Management
Prepare, maintain, and clean treatment rooms, equipment, and consumables to ensure readiness, functionality, and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.

7. Hygiene & Infection Control
Comply with all infection control, sterilisation, hygiene, and safety SOPs to maintain a clean and safe treatment environment.

8. Documentation & Record Keeping
Accurately and promptly document consultation details, treatment records, progress notes, package usage, and any adverse reactions or relevant patient information in the clinic system.

9. Time & Schedule Management
Adhere to assigned consultation and treatment schedules, manage appointment and treatment timing efficiently, and minimise delays that may affect clinic operations.

10. Professional Conduct & Ethics
Maintain professional, ethical, and respectful behaviour when communicating with patients, colleagues, and management. Protect patient confidentiality and uphold the clinic's professional standards at all times.

11. Team Coordination
Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, therapists, front desk, and other consultants to ensure accurate patient handover, appointment coordination, treatment planning, and continuity of care.

12. Sales & Clinic Support
Support clinic sales and business objectives by providing accurate treatment information, following up with enquiries and existing patients, and assisting patients in selecting suitable treatment plans within approved clinic guidelines.

13. Continuous Learning & Development
Participate in training, product briefings, skills upgrading, and competency assessments to remain familiar with clinic services, treatment protocols, products, and updated procedures.

Compliance & Accountability

• Adhere strictly to clinic policies, SOPs, approved treatment protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect all patient information at all times.
• Ensure all treatment, consultation, package, and payment-related information provided to patients is accurate.
• Maintain professional standards when representing the clinic and communicating with patients.
• This role is subject to performance appraisal, audits, competency assessments, and disciplinary procedures based on compliance with the above responsibilities and clinic policies.
