Consultant, Payroll Outsourcing & Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant, Payroll Outsourcing & Operations to support payroll operations for our clients. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while delivering excellent client service.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for assigned clients accurately and on time.
• Ensure payroll processing complies with applicable payroll regulations and statutory requirements.
• Provide operational support and recommendations to improve payroll processes and efficiency.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and deliver high-quality customer service.
• Resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare payroll reports and ensure payroll documentation is complete and accurate.
• Stay up to date with payroll legislation and statutory changes affecting client payroll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of payroll experience, preferably in a payroll outsourcing or shared services environment.
• Hands-on experience or a strong understanding of Singapore payroll processing and statutory requirements, including CPF, IRAS, SDL, NS contributions, and other applicable payroll regulations, is required.
• Experience in multi-country payroll processing is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, statutory compliance, and payroll best practices.
• Proficiency in payroll systems such as SunFish,SAP, Workday, ADP, or similar HRIS/payroll applications.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
