Qualification

Essential:

• MBBS from a recognized medical college.
• MD/DNB in Radiology (Radio Diagnosis).
• Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration.

Preferred:

• Fellowship or specialized training in CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Neuro Radiology, Musculoskeletal Imaging, or Fetal Medicine.
• Relevant post-qualification experience in a multi-specialty hospital.

Experience

• Consultant: 0-5 years post MD/DNB experience.
• Senior Consultant: 8+ years post MD/DNB experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies including:
• X-Ray
• Ultrasound
• CT Scan
• MRI
• Mammography (where applicable)
• Doppler Studies
• Provide timely and accurate radiology reports.
• Collaborate with clinicians and surgeons for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Perform image-guided procedures as per expertise.
• Ensure quality standards and radiation safety protocols are followed.
• Supervise radiographers and technicians.
• Participate in clinical meetings, CMEs, and departmental audits.
• Maintain proper documentation and medical records.
• Ensure compliance with NABH, AERB, and hospital policies.
