TESCRA India is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant - Testing (SDET - II) with a strong background in Performance Testing. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a keen analytical mindset, and the ability to independently manage end-to-end performance testing activities. This role requires hands-on experience in scripting, execution, bottleneck analysis, and providing actionable performance tuning recommendations to development teams. The candidate will also be responsible for stakeholder management, test data and environment coordination, and driving the overall performance testing lifecycle of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently handle end-to-end performance testing activities, including test planning, scripting, execution, and analysis.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using various tools, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Conduct in-depth bottleneck analysis and provide detailed test reports with clear findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify performance issues and guide them on performance tuning strategies.
• Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, risks, and issues.
• Coordinate test data and test environment setup and management to ensure testing readiness.
• Actively participate in daily and weekly review meetings, contributing to project discussions and decision-making.
• Drive performance assessment, test strategy, and test reporting meetings, ensuring the successful execution of the performance testing lifecycle.
• Document lessons learned and implement industry best practices to enhance process maturity and quality improvement.
• Implement CI/CD processes using Jenkins/Azure pipelines for automated performance testing integration.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Must-Have Skills

• Extensive experience in Performance Testing with tools like LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with performance analysis and bottleneck identification.
• Experience in providing detailed performance recommendations for tuning.
• Knowledge of mandatory protocols: Web (HTTP/HTML), Ajax - TruClient.
• Exposure and knowledge of Microservices.
• Familiarity with insurance domain and PCF applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in SQL queries.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC in relation to testing.
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and VersionOne.
• Knowledge of Test process and SDLC.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools like K6.
• Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD integration.
• Knowledge of Java programming and VB Script.
