Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Consultant Urologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical care for patients with urological conditions. The consultant will be responsible for managing OPD/IPD patients, performing urological procedures, and providing high-quality patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations, clinical examinations, and diagnosis of urological conditions.
• Manage OPD and IPD patients and provide appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform urological surgical and minimally invasive procedures as per expertise.
• Handle emergency urological cases and provide timely intervention.
• Review investigations including ultrasound, CT, MRI, laboratory reports, and other relevant diagnostic tests.
• Maintain accurate patient records, clinical documentation, and discharge summaries.
• Coordinate with other specialties for multidisciplinary patient management.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and counselling.
• Ensure compliance with hospital clinical protocols, patient-safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Participate in clinical meetings, quality initiatives, and other departmental activities.

Qualification

• MBBS + MS General Surgery +Mch in Urology from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
• Candidates with relevant experience as a Consultant Urologist will be preferred.

Experience

Relevant experience in Urology preferred; experience may be considered based on clinical and surgical expertise.
