Role Overview

The position is a managerial/leadership role focused on leading the Technical Consulting team. It combines people management, technical oversight of ERP implementations (especially on Windows/SQL, Linux/SLES, and SAP HANA environments), system integration, cloud advisory, customer escalation support, and pre-sales technical input.

Core Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Management – Lead, mentor, and develop the Technical Consulting team; set standards/methodologies; resource planning; knowledge sharing.
• ERP Implementation & Technical Consulting – Oversee installation, configuration, customization, upgrades, migration, integration, and go-live; collaborate with functional consultants, PMs, customers, and vendors; review technical designs.
• System Integration & Technical Solutions – Lead design/implementation of integrations, data migration, reporting, and third-party connectivity; ensure scalable, secure, maintainable solutions.
• Customer Support & Service Delivery – Act as escalation point for complex technical issues; drive service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Cloud & Technology Advisory – Advise on on-premise / hosted / cloud deployment options; work with cloud providers; evaluate new technologies and patches.
• Pre-Sales Support – Support sales/presales with technical expertise, demos, proposals, scope definition, and effort estimation.
• Continuous Improvement – Maintain documentation, standards, and knowledge bases; drive process improvements.

Key Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years in ERP, enterprise software implementation, technical consulting, system integration, or related IT services
• At least 5 years in a managerial or team leadership role
• Strong knowledge of: Microsoft Windows Server + Microsoft SQL Server + database administration + enterprise application environments, and Linux (especially SUSE Linux Enterprise Server – SLES): system admin, performance monitoring, troubleshooting
• Highly preferred: SAP HANA database environments and Linux-based ERP deployments
• Experience with software installation/deployment/upgrade, customization, system/API integration, and data migration
• Understanding of cloud concepts (SaaS, infrastructure, security, connectivity) + familiarity with Azure / AWS / GCP
• Strong leadership, coaching, project management, communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills
• Good spoken & written English
• Ability to travel domestically and overseas
