Responsibilities:

• Oversee quality control of the company’s products and services, ensuring on-time project delivery and reliable product performance.
• Maintain high standards for purchased products, quality control processes, and procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
• Participate in developing product technical with implementation BDMs and/or the project team requirements; supervise product development and production setup from a quality standpoint; establish production quality control processes.
• Perform product sample analysis for quality-related risks in mechanical, cosmetic, electronic, and firmware/software components.
• Maintain test lists, test cases, and checklists for new and existing products to ensure high product quality for demanding customers.
• Carry out product sample testing in the company laboratory.
• Create product acceptance criteria and negotiate them with suppliers, providing well-founded arguments to protect the company from risks.
• Support project managers and BDMs in communicating with suppliers on quality and technical specification questions, serving as the center of technical competence for the project team.
• Develop QC checklists and procedures for products; participate in QC activities; train the QC team
• Conduct supplier audits, deliver feedback, and provide a grounded opinion on suppliers’ ability to meet company quality standards.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Hardware/Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the small household appliances or consumer electronics industry, in an engineering role. Hands-on testing experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes for consumer products, preferably gained in a manufacturing environment or a foreign company’s purchasing office.
• Proficiency in testing methodologies for mechanical, electronic, firmware, software, and cosmetic components.
• Hands-on experience performing testing with relevant equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, programmable power supplies, audio analyzers, DC loads, signal generators, Bluetooth testers) and preparing detailed reports.
• Proficient in bug tracking tools such as Jira.
• Fluent English communication ability is a must, additional Russian and Chinese is a plus.

• Work in office Shenzhen, China with occasional visiting of manufacturing partners
