Job Title: Contact Center Systems Engineer

Location: Elk Grove, CA - Onsite

Employment Type: W2 Contract Only

Rate: $50-$55/hour W2 (all-inclusive)

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise contact center platforms such as Genesys, NICE, Five9, Avaya, Cisco, or comparable platforms
• Strong knowledge of SIP, RTP, and VoIP fundamentals
• Experience troubleshooting call flows, routing logic, media paths, latency, jitter, packet loss, and codec issues
• Hands-on experience with FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, OpenSIPS, Asterisk, or similar open-source telephony components is preferred
• Experience with SIP debugging tools such as sngrep, sipgrep, Wireshark, or HOMER
• Strong Linux administration, service configuration, log analysis, and command-line troubleshooting
• Scripting/programming experience with Python, JavaScript, Bash, or comparable
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, Git, and deployment workflows
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and QoS
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools is preferred
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog is preferred
• Prior experience with contact center platform migration/replacement is a strong plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

The role involves supporting an enterprise contact center platform, troubleshooting production issues, maintaining routing/IVR/queue configurations, supporting a next-generation open-source telephony platform, performing UAT/QA, and collaborating with engineering and operational teams across regions.
