Container Forklift Operator (Top-Lift)

SCF is seeking an experienced Container Forklift Operator (Top-Lift) to join our team on a full-time basis at our Perth Airport Depot.

SCF is Australia’s leading provider of customised container solutions, servicing a diverse range of industries across Australia and New Zealand. We offer one of the most comprehensive ranges of intermodal, tank and on-site storage container solutions.

We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused operator who takes pride in their work, demonstrates initiative and is happy to support the wider depot team when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks within the depot and yard
• Move and position containers throughout the yard, including transporting containers to and from the workshop
• Conduct daily pre-start, maintenance and safety checks on equipment
• Carry out container inspections as required
• Manage the computerised delivery and dispatch of containers
• Assist with general depot duties and manual labour as required
• Support other team members with a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the depot

To Be Successful in This Role

• A current forklift licence
• A valid driver's licence
• Previous experience operating forklifts and handling shipping containers
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work

Special Conditions

• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing, is essential
• You must have full working rights in Australia
