What they need

CONTENT & COMMUNICATION MANAGER
About Green Tailor
Green Tailor is a small and growing company dedicated to developing sustainable, ready-to-dye (blank)
textiles and products. We work closely with natural dyers, textile makers and conscious customers
internationally. Our products are designed to give makers high-quality, versatile materials that they can
transform through natural dyeing and other creative processes. We are a hands-on, entrepreneurial team
where people are expected to take ownership, learn quickly and contribute practically to the growth of the
company.
Our philosophy & communication style
We care about sustainability, quality, usefulness and honest communication. We are not a mass-market
company and we do not want to communicate like a conventional e-commerce brand. Our customers are
often knowledgeable makers and natural dyers, and building trust and long-term relationships matters more
to us than aggressive selling. We value curiosity, authenticity, creativity, initiative and the ability to understand
our products before communicating about them.
Our communication should feel knowledgeable, warm, human and authentic. We do not want generic
marketing language, aggressive selling or content created simply to fill a social media calendar. We want to
educate, inspire and build a genuine relationship with people interested in natural dyeing and sustainable
textiles.
Role overview
We are looking for a creative and highly communicative person who can become the voice of Green Tailor.
You will help people discover our products, understand what makes them different and feel connected to our
brand. You will create content yourself, manage our social communication and be the first point of contact for
many customer enquiries.
Main Responsibilities

Plan and create regular, high-quality content for Instagram and other relevant channels.
Create reels, photographs, stories, short videos and other visual content yourself using a phone or simple
equipment.

Develop creative ideas around products, natural dyeing, sustainability, our production, customers and the
people behind Green Tailor.

Learn our fabrics and products deeply enough to communicate about them accurately and naturally.
Develop and protect a consistent Green Tailor and Fibre Bio tone of voice.
Become the first voice of the brand for social media comments, DMs and initial customer enquiries.
Answer straightforward questions independently and redirect more technical, commercial or production-related
questions to Laura or Mayank when needed.

Write and prepare newsletters, product stories, website copy and other communication materials.
Support new product launches and group-order communication.

Coordinate photographers, videographers and other creative outsourced specialists when their support is
needed.

Collect and develop customer stories, testimonials, collaborations and community content.
Work closely with the Website Manager and Digital Marketing & Content Assistant to make sure content is
properly implemented and supported online.

Monitor engagement and content performance and use the results to improve future communication.
What We Are Looking For

Around 24 years of experience in content creation, communications, social media or a similar
hands-on role.

Excellent written English and a natural, engaging way of communicating.
Strong visual sense and creativity.
Able to create good-quality photographs, reels and simple videos independently.
Able to write in a warm, knowledgeable and non-salesy tone.
Strong curiosity and willingness to learn about textiles, natural dyeing and sustainability.
Comfortable using Instagram, Canva and basic digital content tools.
Good organisation and ability to maintain a regular content rhythm.
Able to communicate confidently with customers while knowing when to involve the founder
Curiosity and abilities to exchange with foreign customers and community.
Very important: Cultural & Brand Fit
This is not the right role for someone who mainly wants to schedule posts, follow trends or produce generic
promotional content. We need someone who genuinely enjoys storytelling and learning. You should be able to
understand why a natural dyer chooses one fabric over another and communicate that with sincerity. You
should have your own creative ideas and be comfortable taking initiative.
We are looking for someone who will represent the brand directly to customers, personality and communication
style are particularly important to us. We are looking for someone whose natural way of speaking can develop
into the voice of Green Tailor, not someone who simply reproduces standard marketing language.
Portfolio Requirement
Please provide examples of social media content, reels, photography, writing or campaigns you have created
yourself. Applications without examples of creative work are unlikely to be suitable for this role.
