Content and Marketing Coordinator

R&D Technologies is South Africa's instant shower specialist, and we're building our marketing department. This is the first hire, and an opportunity to grow with the team as it expands.

Your main goal is simple: grow our organic reach and bring in customers without relying on paid ads.

We're not looking for someone who just knows how to post on social media. We want someone who understands what grabs people's attention, what builds trust, and what makes a customer decide to buy.

What you'll do

You'll own our organic content and day-to-day marketing, including:

• Creating short-form videos and social media content for TikTok, Facebook and Instagram
• Capturing installations, product demos, customer experiences and behind-the-scenes moments, sometimes on-site with our technicians
• Designing posts and promotional material in Canva
• Managing our email database and keeping it clean and compliant
• Responding to comments on our pages and passing enquiries to the Sales team
• Turning customer questions and objections into content that sells
• Tracking what works and doing more of it
• Helping plan and run promotions such as Black Friday

Paid advertising is managed separately.

What we're looking for

• You can shoot and edit engaging short videos (CapCut or similar); professional editing skills aren't required
• You're confident with Canva and write well
• You understand TikTok, Facebook and Instagram, and why some content works and some doesn't
• You're curious about why people buy
• You're organised, consistent and bring your own ideas
• You want to learn our products, our customers and how we work

A marketing qualification is a plus but not essential. Practical ability and marketing thinking matter more.
