Content and Multimedia Specialist

SUMMARY: The Content and Multimedia Specialist develops and maintains user-facing documentation, multimedia assets, and digital content that help customers effectively understand and use Hilton Software products. Working closely with Product, Development, Quality Assurance, Support, and other stakeholders, this role creates guides, graphics, videos, training materials, presentations, and supporting content that enhance customer engagement and product adoption.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Create and maintain user-facing content and documentation, including user manuals, readme files, training materials, and support materials.

· Create and maintain photographs, illustrations, diagrams, charts, user-interface screenshots, animations, graphics, and other visual assets for documentation, training materials, and customer communications.

· Develop video scripts and produce, edit, and publish product feature and release videos, demonstrations, tutorials, training videos, and other multimedia content, as needed.

· Maintain shared repositories, templates, reference materials, multimedia assets, and content libraries to support consistency, reuse, and efficient content creation and publication.

· Assist with website content updates, product announcements, release communications, and other digital content initiatives.

· Write and organize content for requests for proposals (RFPs) and other assigned company projects.

· Review documentation, videos, multimedia content, and customer-facing materials for clarity, consistency, accuracy, and currency, and manage related updates and revisions.

· Assist in collecting user feedback and updating documentation and training materials.

· Maintain knowledge of Hilton Software products to support the creation of user-facing content, multimedia assets, and marketing materials.

· Evaluate existing documentation, identify gaps and duplication, and recommend improvements to clarity, accuracy, usability, and completeness.

· Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance product documentation and supporting content.

· Support the development of trade show materials, customer presentations, and promotional materials.

· Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, communications, or a related field preferred.

· Experience creating business, training, marketing, or product-support content.

· Experience with graphic design, video editing, presentation development, screen mockups, diagrams, workflows, visual assets, user-experience support materials, or other multimedia content.

· Strong written communication and editing skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a strong eye for visual design.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience with documentation, design, and collaboration tools - such as SharePoint, Canva, Figma, Lucidchart, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar platforms -is preferred.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, subject-matter experts, developers, Quality Assurance, Support, Product, and management teams.

· Fluency in written and spoken English, with a strong work ethic, integrity, and a team-oriented approach.

· Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies is a plus.

· HTML and website maintenance skills are a plus.
