About us

Bathroom Takeaway sells bathrooms and heating online, with our head office in Manchester. Most of what we sell ends up in a room people use every day, and we think it deserves more attentio.

We are investing in our brand and our digital channels, and building the marketing team to match. This is a small, hands-on team, so the role carries real ownership from the start.

The role

This role owns our organic social channels and the content that goes on them.

It also involves appearing in our photography and video content, which is a core part of the job rather than an occasional extra. We shoot on location, so there is some overnight travel.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and publish content across Instagram and Facebook
• Write captions in our brand voice
• Create short-form video
• Appear in our photography and video content
• Handle day-to-day community engagement, passing customer service queries to the right team
• Support our content shoots, on location and in the office
• Keep on top of the formats and trends worth using

Essential skills and experience

• Comfortable appearing in photography and on camera
• Able to travel and stay away overnight for shoots
• Experience creating short-form video. A phone is fine
• Strong writing, and able to work within a brand voice rather than your own
• A good sense of what performs on social and why

Useful, not essential

• Video editing beyond a phone
• An interest in interiors

Additional information

This is an office-based role at our Manchester head office, with occasional overnight travel for shoots. Our interview process includes a short on-camera element, which we will tell you about in advance.

Pay: £27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
