Content & Social Media Creator

Simply Design is looking for an experienced contract copy and social media writer to support our growing content and digital marketing team.

The Contract Copy & Social Media Writer will write and produce a variety of marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, social media copy, advertisements, email campaigns and other digital content. This role is ideal for someone who notices the small details, understands how to improve copy without losing the original voice and enjoys helping strong work become even stronger.

Responsibilities

• Create copy for websites, social media and other digital assets
• Review content for clarity, consistency and readability
• Ensure copy follows client-specific brand and style guidelines
• Identify unclear language, inconsistencies or areas needing additional context
• Manage multiple assignments and meet agreed-upon deadlines

The Ideal Contractor

• Has professional writing, proofreading and content experience
• Is comfortable working across a variety of industries, audiences and writing styles
• Has excellent attention to detail and strong editorial judgment
• Communicates clearly and works well with an established creative team
• Can provide timely and dependable support as assignments are completed
• Understands the difference between improving copy and unnecessarily rewriting it

This is a remote, independent contractor opportunity with flexible scheduling and a recurring flow of assignments. Work volume may vary based on client needs and production schedules.
