Working closely with the marketing and product teams, you'll help produce content that reflects our brand identity, celebrates innovation, and connects people to life on the water.

This is a supporting role built for someone who wants to grow. You'll assist on shoots, take ownership of editing and post-production tasks, and keep the content pipeline organized and moving.

  • Support Starboard photoshoots, events, and yearly distributor meetings.
  • Help produce product and brand videos for website, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other channels.
  • Assist in the in-house studio to shoot boards, paddles, and accessories for catalogues, banners, and online stores.

Editing & content production

  • Edit and produce videos and imagery for social media, product pages, campaigns, and other digital platforms.
  • Take ownership of file organization, naming, and archiving of visual content.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and marketing team to keep content aligned with brand tone and objectives.
  • Deliver content in the correct formats for multiple platforms and media channels.

Creative development

  • Contribute ideas for new content, formats, and storytelling concepts.
  • Support brand campaigns, lifestyle storytelling, and behind-the-scenes projects.
  • Explore and apply new tools and workflows, including AI-assisted editing and content generation.

Key working relationships

  • Lead Content Creator:

    direct manager and day-to-day collaborator.

  • Marketing team:

briefs, campaign direction, and channel priorities.

  • Product and design teams:

product accuracy, launch timelines, and brand consistency.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop).
  • Solid video editing and color grading skills, with a willingness to develop them further.
  • Basic knowledge of lighting and studio setups for product and lifestyle photography.
  • Comfortable following a clear brief and working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written.
  • Willing to travel occasionally for shoots, events, and testing trips.

Preferred
