About the Role

We are looking for a creative, energetic, and social media-savvy Content Creation Intern to join our on-site team.

You will help:

• Create engaging Bahasa Melayu content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Brainstorm, script, shoot, and edit short-form videos, including educational, promotional, and trending content.
• Support content planning and marketing campaigns to reach and engage Malay-speaking audiences.

This internship is ideal for someone who loves creating content, keeping up with social media trends, and experimenting with creative ideas. You'll gain hands-on experience in content creation, video production, social media marketing, and AI-powered creative tools in a fast-paced company.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and create engaging Bahasa Melayu content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
• Brainstorm creative content ideas, trending topics, hooks, and video concepts that appeal to Malay-speaking audiences.
• Write simple and engaging video scripts, captions, and social media copy in Bahasa Melayu.
• Shoot and edit short-form videos, including talking-head videos, educational content, promotional videos, and behind-the-scenes footage.
• Assist with content calendars, scheduling, and publishing social media posts.
• Work closely with the marketing team to support campaigns, product launches, webinars, and events.
• Monitor social media trends, viral content, and competitor activities to identify new content opportunities.
• Experiment with AI tools to improve content creation, scripting, editing, and overall productivity.
• Proactively contribute creative ideas and take ownership of assigned content projects.

Requirements

• Current university student or recent graduate in Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Multimedia, Media Studies or related fields.

• Strong command of Bahasa Melayu, especially in writing natural, engaging, and conversational social media content.

• Friendly, responsible, organized, and comfortable communicating with different people.

• Comfortable speaking in front of the camera and creating video content.

• Creative, proactive, and familiar with current TikTok, Instagram, and social media trends.

• Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Canva, or similar tools.

• Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate with the team.

• Willing to learn, experiment, and improve based on feedback.

• Able to work on-site for at least 3 months.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing personal, university, or business social media accounts.

• A portfolio of TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, or other content you've created (personal projects are welcome!).

• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or AI video generation tools.

• Basic photography, videography, or graphic design skills.

• Understanding of social media engagement, storytelling, and viral content strategies.

• Interest in entrepreneurship, business, digital marketing, or online education.

• Able to converse in Mandarin; candidates will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
