Content Creator & Social Media Executive

About the role

We are looking for a creative, organised and proactive team member to support our Director and help grow the company’s online presence.

This is a varied role with social media and content creation as the primary focus, supported by administrative and Personal Assistant duties. You will create content for our interior design, custom cabinetry and home renovation projects, while also assisting management with coordination, documents, scheduling and day-to-day tasks.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating engaging visual content, is comfortable taking initiative and can stay organised while managing different priorities. Candidates who are interested in sales may also have the opportunity to earn additional incentives or commissions, although sales experience is not required.

Key responsibilities

1. Social media and content creation (Primary Work)

• Manage the company’s social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and XiaoHongShu.
• Plan and maintain a regular social media content calendar.
• Develop engaging content related to interior design, custom cabinetry, home renovation, project showcases, materials, products, promotions and customer testimonials.
• Take photos and videos at the showroom, project sites and company activities.
• Create and edit Reels, TikTok videos and other short-form content.
• Write engaging captions and develop fresh content ideas.
• Monitor current social media trends and identify opportunities to improve reach and engagement.
• Track social media performance and prepare basic reports.

2. Administrative and Personal Assistant support

• Assist management with day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Manage documents, records, quotations and other company information.
• Coordinate appointments and meetings.
• Maintain spreadsheets and basic reports.
• Assist with presentations, marketing materials and other business documents.
• Conduct online research and gather information when required.
• Support the Director and management with other ad-hoc tasks and coordination as assigned.

3. Optional sales incentive opportunity

Candidates who are interested in earning additional income may have the opportunity to:

• Follow up with potential renovation leads.
• Conduct basic telemarketing and WhatsApp follow-ups.
• Introduce our interior design, renovation and custom cabinetry services.
• Arrange appointments for the sales or design team.
• Earn additional incentives or commissions based on sales performance.

Sales experience is not compulsory. Training and guidance will be provided for candidates who choose to take on this opportunity.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, Design or a related field is an advantage.
• Experience in social media management or content creation is preferred.
• Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, XiaoHongShu, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Creative, with a good eye for design, aesthetics and visual presentation.
• Organised, responsible and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of content and administrative tasks.
• Willing to travel occasionally to the showroom or project sites for content creation.
