About the role

We are seeking a talented Content Creator & Social Media Executive to join GHL Aluminium Marketing SDN BHD in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in building and maintaining our brand presence across digital platforms. As Content Creator & Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for developing engaging content strategies, creating compelling multimedia content, and managing our social media channels to drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition. This role is central to our digital marketing efforts and directly contributes to the company's growth objectives in an increasingly competitive digital landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Create, curate, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels

• Develop and implement comprehensive content calendars and social media strategies aligned with company objectives and target audience demographics

• Produce high-quality multimedia content including graphics, videos, captions, and copy that resonate with our audience and reflect brand guidelines

• Manage daily social media operations including community engagement, responding to comments and messages, and building meaningful relationships with followers

• Monitor social media analytics and performance metrics to assess content effectiveness and provide regular reports and insights

• Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, sales, and design to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels

• Conduct trending topic and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for content differentiation and innovation

• Plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and contests to increase follower engagement and brand loyalty

• Stay updated with the latest social media trends, algorithms, platform updates, and digital marketing best practices

• Support the development of user-generated content initiatives and influencer collaboration opportunities

What we're looking for

• Strong proficiency in managing multiple social media platforms and understanding of platform-specific best practices and audience behaviours
• Excellent copywriting and content creation skills with the ability to develop engaging, on-brand content for diverse audiences
• Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools
• Demonstrated ability to analyse social media metrics and translate data insights into actionable strategies
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to social media and digital content
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Creative thinking with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solve problems independently
• Knowledge of the aluminium, manufacturing, or B2B sector is advantageous
• Familiarity with social media management tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social is preferred
• Ability to work under tight deadlines whilst maintaining high-quality output
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
