About the role

Diet Planet Empire is seeking a talented Content Creator - Assistant to join our dynamic marketing and communications team. This is a full-time position based in Klang, Selangor. As Content Creator - Assistant, you will play a vital role in developing and executing our content strategy across multiple platforms, supporting the broader marketing objectives of our growing wellness and nutrition brand. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our brand presence whilst building your expertise in content creation within the health and wellness industry.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging and original content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube, tailored to our target audience
• Assist in developing content calendars and editorial plans that align with marketing campaigns and brand objectives
• Produce high-quality written content including blog posts, captions, newsletters and marketing copy
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative ideas and content concepts
• Edit and optimise content for publication, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and tone of voice
• Monitor content performance and engagement metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
• Assist in the production and curation of multimedia content including images and video footage
• Support the coordination of content across various marketing channels and campaigns
• Research trending topics and industry news relevant to the diet and wellness sector
• Respond to audience engagement and assist with community management activities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in content creation, preferably within marketing, social media or digital communications roles
• Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling, engaging copy for diverse audiences
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and current digital trends
• Proficiency in content management systems and basic graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar)
• Ability to create or edit video content for social media platforms
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Creative mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of marketing principles and SEO optimisation techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with analytics tools and the ability to interpret performance data
• A background or genuine interest in the health, wellness or nutrition industry is highly desirable
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field is preferred
